Lung Cancer Awareness Month

November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Join LCFA in our efforts to raise awareness of the need for more research and better community awareness of this disease.

3 ways to raise lung cancer awareness in November:
Help Lung Cancer Foundation of America raise awareness by trying one or more of the suggestions below.

1. Share awareness facts on social media:
You can download many facts and images via: https://mk0lcfamerica27gkeby.kinstacdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/LungCancerAwarenessImages-2019.zip

2. Wear the cancer ribbon:
Pearl or white – that’s the color of the Lung Cancer Awareness ribbon. LCFA invites you to be creative and make your own white ribbon.

Or, if you’d prefer, help raise awareness and funds at the same time by purchasing a lung cancer awareness ribbon from Amazon, through their Amazon Smile program.

Choose Lung Cancer Foundation of America for all your shopping through Amazon Smile program.
AmazonSmile gives back to LCFA if you “Start with a smile!” You receive the same Amazon experience and products, and the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to LCFA – sign in and choose Lung Cancer Foundation of America.

3. Donate to lung cancer research:
Make a secure online donation in just minutes.
Your online donations to Lung Cancer Foundation of America are donations that fund lung cancer research.

Or donate through a 3rd party!
Share your story, inspire others - set up a Facebook fundraiser.
Lung Cancer Awareness Month is a great time to honor your personal lung cancer journey or a tribute to a loved one.

Start a fundraiser for LCFA on Facebook and request that your friends and family members contribute to lung cancer research. Facebook Fundraisers also takes no fee on donations made, meaning every penny you earn on behalf of LCFA is donated to lung cancer research.
