Author Spotlight: Sandy Ashley

Image
My name is Sandy Ashley. I'm an author, reader, mom, gamer & more. I have one short book published. It's called Stand Your Ground. It is about a personal experience that I had and what I learned from it and I hope it helps others to learn from as well. It's about emotional abuse and rape. So, it certainly isn't for kids, but still hope it changes someones life in some way. You can get my book here in kindle or paperback: https://www.amazon.com/Stand-Your-Ground-Sandy-Ashley/dp/1540543080 I am working slowly (super slow) on two full length books. One is a love story, but not your average love story. It has a special twist in it, that I personally haven't seen done before. My other book is about a girl who is half vampire/half human. She just tries to find her way in life and a little bit of a twist in that as well. I will finish them one day and have them out for others to read as well. Here is my author page: https://www.facebook.com/Autho...

Twitter Spotlight with Heather Kirchhoff

Image
Meet Heather Kirchhoff, the face behind the RRSMS Twitter account.  I live in Missouri where I work at a nursing home. I currently have one dog, and I’ll be getting a betta soon. I love animals; I’m heartbroken not all of them have happy homes. When I’m not writing, I enjoy reading, taking pictures, walking, and spending time with my animals, family and best friends. I became a bookworm back in sixth grade when my teacher suggested I read the Phantom Stallion series by Terri Farley and instantly fell in love. Ever since then, I’ve taken a book pretty much anywhere with me. I absolutely love reading! I enjoy when a story takes me from the real world for a little while, and into something completely different. I’ll read anything as long as it sounds good, aside from non-fiction and self-help books. My favorite genre is paranormal, but I also like reading love stories here and there. I was inspired to write by Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight, Richelle Mead’s Vampi...
