Meet Gina Dierolf and Sid Scott Lee, the faces behind the RRSMS Tumblr account!



My name is Gina, I am 26 years old and a live in Pennsylvania with my mom, and friend. We have 6 animals; a ball python named Saosin, a dachshund Zachariah, and 4 hamsters Jaime (Hi-me), Pepper, Sonnet, and Rosie. At Rock and Roll Saved my Soul I am a Social Media Specialist where I co-run the RRSMS Tumblr with Sid. I have also contributed to a couple of the anthologies. Volunteering for RRSMS is a highly rewarding experience, I love it. It's a fun and caring community that allows you to connect to other people who share a similar passion as you.





Hello, Sid here! I run the Tumblr blog with Gina as well as write pieces for their various charity anthologies. I'm a twenty-one year old writer and aspiring artist who lives in Midwest. When I'm not writing I'm usually working with rescue dogs or playing cheesy otome games. I absolutely love working with Rock and Roll Saved my Soul. I think the best part of the job is giving back and also feeling like my writing has a purpose and can do some good. Reading kept me alive though a hard time in my life, so to be able to benefit others in even some small way through writing is a dream come true for me. I'm honored to be a part of the team.

  June 23, 2020: This week hasn't been an easy one. I guess my boss doesn't want things to go back to the way they were before, which means I'll be stuck doing what I don't want to do. And that is frustrating. I was told when things changed that it was only temporarily. That was what was keeping me going through all this. But now, I don't know anymore. It's hard for me, because I can't just find another job easily. Because I don't drive and have to get a ride to work, it would need to be very specific hours and close proximity to where I'm already working. National Aunt and Uncle Day

National Aunt and Uncle’s Day on July 26th honors a special set of relatives we look up to throughout our lives. During holidays, family events and sometimes sleepovers, aunts and uncles often hold an extraordinary place in our hearts. They fill our lives with fun, laughter, love and incredible memories.   This holiday provides an opportunity to spend time with our parents’ siblings we trusted and leaned on growing up.  It would be an excellent time to get out the old photo albums. Look through the pictures, and relive the memories of earlier days around the Christmas tree or at the 4th of July picnic or maybe at the beach vacation that included those special aunts and uncles in your life. Get together with your relatives and create new memories. Remind them of all the reasons you enjoy having them in your life.
