Meet MJ Rain

Mj would like to first thank Kate Marie Robbins for asking her to do this author interview. She loves Kate to bits and pieces, after they became very good dear and true friends with each other. They both share the same Philanthropic attitude and goals to cause positive change in the world. RRSMS is a mission Mj is extremely proud to be a part of, sharing it with Kate and all of the many brilliant participating/contributing authors.

Author. Poet. Writer. Activist. Potterhead. True Blue New York Rangers Fan. Geek.
Mj was born and raised on Long Island, a suburb of New York City. In the Summer of 2005, she and her family moved to Central Iowa, where she currently lives with her mom, husband, and Lilac Siamese cat she lovingly calls The Luckness Monster.

She began actively writing in the Fall of 2011 and hasn’t looked back since.
Mj is currently writing a pair of novels, titled ‘Fall Out’ and ‘Echelon’. She is attempting to write her own Greek Myth about Atlantis. ‘Fall Out’ will be about the fall of Atlantis, while ‘Echelon’ will be about the rise of Chimera. Both books will also serve as a prequel to A Telltale Destiny.
Mj plans to release both under Maidenstone Press, which is co-owned by both herself and Gemma Williams. Editing will also be done by Gemma Williams and the Cover Art/Design will be done by Kate Marie Robbins.

Mj has been published by Rock & Roll Saved My Soul, I’m With Geek, The Cat’s Meow for Writers and Readers Magazine, and Broken Bars Publishing.

Mj was also a Winner for NaNoWriMo 2014.

She dreams of going on a Mission Trip to 3rd World Africa, becoming a Philanthropist, visiting England | Sweden | Finland | France | Sicily | Holland, becoming a #1 New York Times Best-Selling Author, and using her DNA to trace her lineage through Ancestry.

Being a Liberal, Mj is very passionate about many subjects and causes. Her biggest goal as a writer is to use her talent to cause change all over the world. Her heart is always going to be in the fight against HIV/AIDS, but she also believes in and supports Human Rights, Civil Rights, The LGBT Community, Marriage Equality, Gender Equality, Gun Control Laws, The Affordable Healthcare Act, Ethical Treatment of Animals, Global Warming and Climate Change, Religious Equality, and many more.

I want to change the world.

What was it like working with Rock & Roll Saved My Soul?  Would you recommend them to someone else?
I love working with RRSMS, being a part of its anthology series, and all of the promoting I do. I love the fact that I don’t have to be a best-selling author to be a philanthropist. I constantly promote RRSMS every chance I get, so yes. I have definitely recommended them and will continue to.
