Meet Aisling Spofford, Social Media Marketing Specialist - Youtuber

Tell our readers a little bit about yourself. We want to get to know you better!
My name is Aisling. I’m married to my high school sweetheart & we have three daughters. I played the violin when I was in middle school. I’m a terrible singer but I sing anyway. Someday I hope to learn how to play the guitar and the piano. My hobbies include reading, writing, scrapbooking, hand taming my two parakeets, taking pictures, playing Nancy Drew PC games & going for walks.

What’s it been like volunteering for Rock & Roll Saved My Soul? What is your favorite thing about it?
Volunteering for Rock & Roll Saved My Soul has been an awesome experience. My favorite thing about it is how many people have worked together and put so much work into creating something so amazing.

What made you want to join the Rock & Roll Saved My Soul team?
I wanted to join the Rock & Roll Saved My Soul team because of one of my best friends, Kate, who inspires me everyday & has taught me so much over the years.

Who are some of your favorite bands?  Favorite album(s)/song(s)?
Some of my favorite bands include One Republic, Avenged Sevenfold, Pink, The Doors, Frank Turner, Bon Jovi & many others.

If you’ve been to a concert, which was the most memorable? Feel free to share any stories with us!
I’ve only ever been to one concert when I was sixteen. I went to Edgefest to see Mudvayne, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying and Hatebreed. It was definitely a memorable experience & one day I hope to go to more concerts.

If you could go on tour with one band for a month, which band would you choose and why?
I would have to pick One Republic because their music is really inspirational to me.

Are you a writer or musician? What genre? Where can we find out more about your writing or music?

National Aunt and Uncle Day

National Aunt and Uncle’s Day on July 26th honors a special set of relatives we look up to throughout our lives. During holidays, family events and sometimes sleepovers, aunts and uncles often hold an extraordinary place in our hearts. They fill our lives with fun, laughter, love and incredible memories.   This holiday provides an opportunity to spend time with our parents’ siblings we trusted and leaned on growing up.  It would be an excellent time to get out the old photo albums.
