What is something that you could realistically do today that would benefit the rest of your life? What’s stopping you? Kate: Write more. I know getting my writing out there more would help, but it's hard to find the motivation to do so. Sandy:  paying off all my credit cards. Which I'm doing slowly. Just seems to be taking forever

If intelligent extra-terrestrial life was discovered, how do you think humanity would react? How would you react? Kate: Based on the fact that humanity as a whole cannot accept differences within our own species, the reaction to other intelligent life wouldn't go over well. A long time ago back when there were radio shows, someone read War of the Worlds and mass hysteria ensued. I don't think it would be much different than that, even all these years later. Me personally, I already believe in such things existing, because it seems impossible that we are the only intelligent life form. I use that term loosely though-intelligent. Kate: I like to measure mine in moments and love.  Sandy:  Honestly, if you feel you are rocking life then great! Is it easier to hate or to love? Why? Kate: Honestly, for most of the world, it's easier to hate than it is to love. We're so full of prejudice that we are unaccepting of  anyone different than us. However, just because it is easier to hate, doesn't mean that we should. Easy doesn't equal right.  Sandy:  Michaelle:  I, also, believe it depends on your past. Imagine you’re 65. Would you rather live another 10 years in good health with full mobility or another 40 years in deteriorating health with limited mobility? Kate: I already have poor health, so I think I'd rather live longer. Michaelle:  Definitely, the 10 years with full mobility. If someone told you a secret, but in keeping the secret, it put someone's life in danger. Would you still keep the secret or tell the proper person/authority?  Kate: In general, I don't share secrets that I've been told, but when it puts someone's life in danger in keeping the secret, telling is always better. I don't think I could knowingly turn a blind eye to it.   Sandy:  I never joke about someone's life. Depending on what was going on, I would find a way to keep them safe and still tell who needed to know. Secrets are good, but when it comes to life or death something needs to be said. If you do a good deed in order to feel good about it, is it kindness or business? Does it matter either way? Kate: Both? I think if you do it for the wrong reasons, it does lose some of the meaning behind it, but to the person on the receiving end, it might mean the world to them. One should never do good things out of reasons that aren't pure.  Sandy:  I do it because I want to. I don't ever feel I have to or that it is anyway business related. I care a lot about others and so I always try to be nice to others because we really don't know what is going on behind closed doors. So to speak. How do we know that we’re not living in a computer simulation? Kate: We don't have any definitive proof one way or another. We all want to know why we're here though, and this is one viable option. It's a better alternative than some of the theories out there. I love The Matrix, but I'm not sure I want to be living it.   Sandy:  We don't. We just have to keep doing what we are doing. However, we have brains so we can change how things go as far as what we want to do. Michaelle:  We know we are not living in a computer simulation because humans are not completely predictable and computers haven't been around for a hundred years yet. If you knew there was an 80% chance that someone was going to commit murder in their lifetime, but a 20% chance that they would not, would you imprison them before they had the opportunity? What if it were 50-50? Kate: This can be a tricky situation. Knowing there is a high probability that someone is going to do something can skew your view of them and use that to justify treatment or prejudice. But at the same if you could stop it, you'd want to. Locking them up could contribute to them committing said murder, because it's not something that just happens outside of prison.  From a psychological standpoint, I'd want to help them, if that was possible.. Nature versus nurture kind of thing. Obviously you shouldn't be treated as a criminal if you're not one.  Sandy:  No, however in our courts seems no one cares. People get let go for something they did or people are put in for something they didn't. People will do what they want no matter what. ...

Does a belief in free will make you more or less happy? Kate: Yes and no. The belief doesn't so much, but the fact that I can make my own decisions does. I'm not sure I believe in it truly, because somethings are just out of our hands, but knowing that I can make my own decisions does. Sandy:  I don't believe this to be true. Which is a scarier thought: that the human race is the most advanced form of life in the universe, or that we are mere amoeba compared to other life forms? Kate: I think they are both equally terrifying propositions, but of the two, I think the more true one is that we are merely amoeba.  And that's scary, because it is our reality.  Sandy:  I feel human race is the most advanced because if they know about this they will try to use it in some weird way that they don't need too causing chaos everywhere and possibly ending human life. Michaelle:  The scarier thought to me is that the human race is the most advanced form of life in the universe. This thought seems very sad to me because we still have so much more to learn and grow in order to be that significant. What do you do to make the world a better place? Kate: I always am someone you can come to with your problems, whether you just want to vent or advice, I listen. I try to pay it forward. Hugs! Sid:  Have humans gotten over themselves yet or are half of us still fighting for basic human decency? Michaelle:  I would want to know about any wars, if there was one world currency yet, if there was one world leader, pretty much if any prophecies had come to fruition. What was the biggest realization you had about yourself? Sandy:  I can always handle more than I think I can and come out better for it. Michaelle:  Really so many things. Each new decade of life brings many life experiences and new realizations. It's hard to accept how naive and sheltered you are when you're young. Grateful for the understanding and knowledge I now have as well as the things I will continue to learn. Sid:  I'm more important than what others think of me. What’s the best lesson you’ve learned from a work of fiction?  Sid:  Probally how multi-dimensional people can be. Kate: That anyone can be weird if you watch them long enough.
