Mother's Day: Thankful for Our Moms

Image
I love my mom because she is the best mom in the world -Bodie R.  My adoptive mom is amazing! She has a huge heart and she pushes through so much. When most people would give up. I hope that I am like her as even now I get older. She inspires me to push through everything even if it seems impossible. For that I can't thank her enough for the things she does for me and my kids! It's not much but it means so much to me!! 💛💚 -Sandy A. My mom is the best mom around and she is very supportive and she is the best mom around. -Lori M. My mom is the strongest, most beautiful women I know. If I can even be half the woman she is, I'll be happy. -Kate R.

Image
Easy Mother's Day Button Flower Cards Supplies: Buttons in various shapes, sizes, colors of your choosing Paper (printer or scrapbooking)  Glue (of your choosing) Pencil Stickers (if you want them, not necessary) Step One: Choose your buttons and design and place them on the paper. Step Two: To make things easier to glue them down, trace around the edge of the buttons so you know where to place the glue. Step Three: Remove buttons and glue them down. We used a hot glue gun so the glue would dry faster  Step Four: Once the glue has dried, you can add writing or stickers to the front and inside of card to your liking

Adrift, that is a good way to describe how isolating it is to grow up without my mom. Out all alone, on the ocean, on some makeshift raft. My mom passed right after my fourth birthday. I remember the day my dad told me she was gone. We were in the car and he was upset and crying. I remember we were leaving my paternal grandparents home where we had been staying after having just lived a short stint in east Texas. My mother and father were divorced and he had full custody of me at the time of her passing.
