Rock and Roll Saved My Soul

The Ghost show was the most amazing time I've had at a concert. It wasn't really a concert it was an experience and a ritual. The way I feel at there shows is amazing, I'm at peace. All my stress melts away and I'm happy. It was my seven year old son's first Ghost ritual, he was so excited and loved it very much. He even was given mummy dust from one of the guys selling merch. I'm so jealous, I have always wanted one. We are going to frame it for him. They played a new set list from the last time I saw them, with there two new songs. They play two sets. There was a lot of theatrics, like when Cardinal Copia came out on his tricycle like in one of his videos was awesome. I took a lot of pictures and got great videos as well. Can't wait to see them again next time!

The Avatar and Babymetal concert was amazing from start to finish. Once we got to the venue we had to pay for parking, because to parking lot of the venue was full. We ended up getting to go in the short line since we paid to park. Which was cool. We went to look at mech booths. I ended up getting my very first band sweater from Avatar and I absolutely love it! Also a Babymetal keychain. We found a spot in the crowd of people, it sucks being so short, it sometimes hard to see, I found a spot I could see pretty well though. When Avatar started playing excitement filled the room. Avatar is a swedish metal band and played a variety of different songs from different albums and I took some amazing photos and videos of my favorite songs. They put on a great show, very entertaining. Then Babymetal came on and they are amazingly talented at singing and dancing and adorable girls. They are a Japanese metal band. And it would be the first gig I ever went to with Andrea. It was actually her idea to go.  The venue was a lot smaller than I anticipated and was set up weird, with the stage right next to the entrance. But let's backtrack a second. I had told Andrea if I could manage it, she'd get to meet the band. When we were waiting to get in Spider (lead singer of PM5K) came out and Andrea wanted to get a picture. Victim of the New Disease Tour Concert Review  By Gina Dierolf On February 28th, 2019 I attended a concert at the Reverb in Reading, Pennsylvania. The bands who performed were Vitruvia, Sleep Signals, Escape the Fate, Attila, and All That Remains. Tickets were fairly cheap, $22.00 (I received my tickets for free since I won a contest sponsored by Vertigo Music) and the doors opened at 5:30 PM and it would appear that concert had begun at around 6:00 PM.             Vitruvia was the opening band to perform during this concert. They are a local Pennsylvania band that I have seen numerous times and each time their set is a blast and they have an energetic stage presents that makes you want to be a part of the action. Jen (my sister) and I went, as we typically do these days. She's the only one with as eclectic taste in music as me. We ended up not getting there before doors opened at 8 p.m. so we didn't have to queue for very long. Though the gig was sold out, it didn't feel overly crowded, which made it easy to get close to the stage. After grabbing merch, we ended up being a few "rows" back stage left. The opening act was called Priests, which was 3/4 female. Now, I'll admit I'm a bit of a female vocalist snob as Joseph (my brother) likes to say. I was not very impressed with them. The Gossip Tour 2018 by Gina Dierolf On January 27th 2018, I saw Sleeping With Sirens with opening bands The Gospel Youth and Set it Off at the Reverb in Reading, Pennsylvania. A friend and I decided to go to this concert because of Set it Off performing, since we have liked them for some time. I knew all of the songs except maybe two from Set it Off, nothing that The Gospel Youth played and maybe only two of the songs from Sleeping With Sirens; since most of what they performed was all newer music. As for the venue, I find the Reverb to be a pretty decent sized venue with pretty many seats, good standing space in front and around the stage and it is also handicap accessible. The only issue there seems to be with a lot of bands that play at the Reverb is that their instruments always seems to be amplified more than the singer’s microphones, so it’s almost always impossible to hear the lyrics being sung or what is being spoken.
